Reports and Exports
For exporting and reporting, the currently selected documents are used, i. e. to select all documents, activate the "All" area.
Export
The function can be accessed from the Dashboard, the keyboard shortcut' CMD + E' or from the main menu.
Documents as PDF
All documents in receipts are stored in PDF format and can therefore also be exported in that format. You can choose whether you want to create a single PDF for each entry, or a single PDF that summarizes all documents.
The PDF can also be created in a "formatted" variant, in which the data collected for the respective document is also displayed on the margins.
Format: Excel / XLS
The Microsoft Excel format is absolutely reliable, especially when transferring date and number entries, and is understood by most spreadsheet applications.
Format: CSV
CSV (Comma Separated Values) is a very simple but widely used format for data exchange and is supported by most programs. For direct use in a spreadsheet, however, the XLS format is more recommended, as it provides better date and numerical information.
Format: JSON
For situations in which the data from "Receipts" is to be processed further in a self-written program, for example, the JSON format is recommended. A detailed description of the format can be found in the Receipts API Documentation.
ZIP file
The data is usually exported in a separate new folder. Alternatively, a ZIP file can be created, which is ideal for distribution or archiving.
Reports
The data can be printed in tabular form or saved as a PDF file. It is possible to give the document a title, a totals row and an individual arrangement and labeling of the columns.
The function can be accessed from the Dashboard, the keyboard shortcut' CMD + R' or from the main menu.
